Entrevista
First of all I have to send them a lot of documents about my degrees (titles, records, etc). After one intelligence test and other of personality, I was interview by two members of the data scientist team and the HR. The interview was mainly about my experience and previous work.

Entrevista
The first meeting went positive and I was given a task which requires a little bit of SQL & Python skills. After my submission, I received an e-mail from HR that one of the applicants is at the final step for recruitment therefore they cannot consider my application for further evaluation. It would be nice to respect other people's time, especially with respect to the time consuming hands-on tasks. Therefore when you apply, make sure that your efforts are not going into waste bin.

Entrevista
I was first contacted by Goodgame's HR who noticed I could be a good fit for their Data Science team. After a preliminary call with HR I was invited to share my resume and undertake a brief intelligence test and a longer core competency test (R skills, excel skills). Having passed these, I then underwent a couple of calls with the data science lead + others to ask a range of high level questions about what I do, what I would like to do, with some specific drill-down into examples of the kind of projects I did lately. I also submitted a case study for them to analyse. After some days of consideration, an offer was made to join their data science team.

What distinguishes a data scientist from a data analyst? What motivates/de-motivates you? How do you tell if a regression model has been overfit?
The interviews ranged from straightforward to suddenly tricky, but most of all, the process had many steps and took some months, so patience is a good trait for applicants!
