The interview process was smooth and well structured. The interviewers were very friendly and the candidate experience team were fantastic as they give immediate feedback despite the time differences. I loved the experience even though i did not get an offer.

I’m an experienced sourced and recruiter, with years of experience in major tech companies. My company is going through layoffs, so I was referred for a role at Gitlab by a friend/employee who thought I would be a great fit. I never got any sort of confirmation email or follow up from anyone whatsoever, except today when I received a generic rejection email... on Christmas Day. What a nice slap in the face. Looks like I dodged a bullet working here. They need a better recruiting team if they reject well qualified referrals... on Christmas. It also goes to show that people here work on Christmas. Yikes.
