Overall, for the PM interviews I would recommend preparing as if you were interviewing for Microsoft as opposed to GitHub due to the acquisition. For some context, as of Oct 2019 all the PMs that interviewed me had an average of 10-20 years of experience at MS and 0-1 years of experience at GitHub. Some as little as 2 months at GH.
The interview process was a bit grueling in the sense that I went through about 8 phases before they decided I wasn't a good fit. But otherwise each individual phase was pretty pleasant. The folks there are all very nice. They include a D&I phase which I thought was great. But I didn't make it that far to be able to say what it's like unfortunately.
All phases were video calls since this was for a remote role:
Phase 1: Recruiter screen
Phase 2: Hiring Manager 1:1
Phase 3: Submit case study presentation for review
Phase 4: VP of Product Management 1:1
Phase 5: SVP of Product Management 1:1
Phase 6: Case study presentation to PMs 2:1
Phase 7: Interview from engineering 2:1
Phase 8: PM Leadership interview 2:1
Phase 9: Hiring Manager again 1:1 (didn't make it this far)
Phase 10: Diversity & Inclusion with HR 1:1 (didn't make it this far)

Never got it. Hard. Never called back wish they called back but they sent email of no interview 6 months after. That sucks at least be responsive. Wish they offfered more

Entrevista
30 minute Hiring screen, one hour manager interview, case assignment. I wasn't able to present my case assignment as the position was filled before my scheduled interview. Still it was a good interview experience.
