All GSK jobs start out with automated open-answer Q&A to substitute for a recruiter phone call (I feel that recruiter phone calls may be much more useful than this!) A few weeks later, I had a "2nd" round was a video screening call with hiring manager, skip lead, and team member; questions about my experience and background, learning more about the role, and answering my questions. My full panel interview was about 1.5 months afterward (partially due to holidays). Full panel virtual interview (in-person was available but I had a scheduling conflict) started out with my presentation on my research, followed by a full day of 1:1-4:1 meetings with members of the prospective team and several adjacent teams. Questions were mostly about my research, plus several personality/behavioral questions largely focused on my integrity. Seemed like a great place to work and everyone was very attentive and friendly.

Great and speedy interview process consisting of 2 virtual rounds and 1 in person. Genuinely interested in my questions for a discussion on how it fits the vision for the role that I applied

Screening interview with HR then 45 min phone interview followed by full day onsite interview. Everyone was very nice and the technical questions were limited to your own research. Overall a pleasant experience.

What was your favorite paper that you read in recent literature and why?
Initial chat with a recruiter with standard procedure, mostly talking about the "logistics" of the job, e.g. salary range, location, etc. Then chat with hiring manager. After that I was invited to give a technical presentation, followed by about 6 different 1:1 or 1:2 interviews, the talk and interviews were conducted virtually. Lastly a site visit in person. Site visit included lunch and additional 1:1 conversations.
