There were two interviewers and arrogance and narrow mindedness were immediately shown in interview session. Elitism mindset heavily cultivated in its people. Technical questions were asked, and they probed into how similar functions in other companies work but yet made criticism through their comments. I was surprised at their arrogance, and also, at how the SVP did not expect, and in fact encourage unhealthy working relations between corporate services teams and portfolio teams, just because of the difference in nature of the job of the teams. This is greatly disturbing coming from a top tier investment fund manager firm, and I was immediately not inclined to carry on the interview.
