Disappointed by the lack of technical depth during the Product Manager interview, interviewer appeared to lack the foundational technical background necessary to evaluate through her questions but showed no respect.

Spent ~8 hours on a take-home. Rejected after 2 months with vague and debatable feedback. Reviewer claimed the project couldn’t run due to DB issues, despite the required version being clearly specified in the README. It doesn’t appear the environment was set up properly before evaluation. Feedback also criticized the lack of an OOP-heavy approach for an ETL pipeline. Choosing a functional design for transformations was intentional and appropriate for the problem. Expecting OOP for everything suggests a lack of understanding of when each paradigm is suitable. Disappointing process overall. Don't waste your precious time doing their take home assignments, when their reviewers are too lazy to even do a proper evaluation.

There should be a few rounds but first round is a technical assessment where you will be given a week to write code and send to them. Failed the first round due to lack of tests which is a focus for them
