      Entrevista

      After I passed the initial assessment online I was sent an email to select a date to go in for further testing. When I got there they put the group into a room and tested our computer skills and our ability to process calls through a headset. I passed this portion and moved on to the 1:1 interview. The woman asked me questions about availability, salary, past work experience, etc. She did slip and let me know the answer to my availability was for screening purposes. So after I passed they asked me to wait about an hour for another call simulation environment. After I passed this they took me on the floor. I wasn't really prepared to stay there the whole time and I hadn't brought a lunch and I was really hungry. They sat me on the floor to hear calls with current employees. This is a test to see how well you gel with the other employees. The second guy I sat with was actually part of the hiring team. It is very important you ask them questions even if you have had years of experience. I was distracted by my hunger as I sat back and listened to calls. After about three hours of sitting on the phone the actual hiring manager came and interviewed me. He explained that only 10% make it this far. He made a few random jokes that I didn't get right away. Then after the interview he walked me out, made another joke about my age that took me a minute to get, shook my hand and told me I will be notified Friday of the next week. As soon as I got home I checked my email and got the rejection email.

      There are two rounds. The first round is virtual and they ask about your background and if you can handle the process. For the second-round, You will shadow someone for 20 minutes then proceed for a 40 minute interview. There are a lot of situational questions.

      It was a weird process, first it was on zoom and my interviewer told me to turn off my camera because of the bandwidth issues. Then she asked three questions and provided me the job description and the hours. She then asked me if I was looking for other work and If I was currently working. I did tell her that I am currently working and she told me that I have enough time to provide my current job a two weeks notice. After the interview she told me that she was going to endorse my application for review. Then she sent me another email saying that “Your recruiter will be in touch with you for next steps”. Then in the middle of night not even 24 hrs, I get a generic email saying that I was passed on. I wanted to find out why did I get an email saying that a recruiter was going to contact me, then I passed on from someone else. This was a customer service position and during the interview she told me that I have a lot of experience. I just didn’t like during that interview I was given false hope. I would not recommend applying to this company.
