There were in all 6 interviews, the number of interviews as such seems to be standard at GE.
Some of the interviews were technical, focused on technical aspects of accounting.
Expect to have quite a few behavioral questions, mainly focused on how one can succeed working across multiple teams

The interview was in person (but possible to do it by Skype) and the travelling fees are not paid by the company.
I was interviewed by two managers.
They asked me questions related to Financial knowledge and also situational questions, as for example "how would you react if you do not agree with your manager?", "what do you do when you have to work under pressure?".

Finance related questions - on P&L and Balance sheet
20 minutes, easy and they were polite. interviewed with two persons. Applied online, they were organized and fast. made it with the accounting manager and HR manager and both were friendly and calm.
