If it's too good to be true, it probably is. I was messaged by the talent acquisition team based on my resume on Indeed. I do not feel like I misrepresented myself or my skill-set on my resume or the initial interviews. It became clear within the first few minutes with the hiring manager that they were looking for a more senior engineer with years of experience in motion control and PLC programming. I was clear from the start that my knowledge of PLCs is very rudimentary, yet I was pushed through. My thought process was maybe they were looking for someone they can train to fit the role, they were not. If you’re approached by their talent acquisition team, I would be sure you have the qualifications stated, because the talent team will waste everyone’s time.
