It seemed like a 100% match, including nice-to-have points. Then I was invited to an interview for a completely different position for which I was obviously less qualified. Still, the recruiter told me it didn't matter because we could decide where I would fit better, since there are many open positions. At the end of the interview, I was told that my experience seems strong and they would like to review my application with specific teams I could fit, if not one than another, but the next morning, I received a standard rejection email.
