The interview process wasn't bad at all... that is until they ghosted me.
I went through 4 stages of interviews with Frontline:
1. Phone call pre-screen with the recruiter. Typical questions to screen out those that definitely aren't a good fit at the high level
2. Next was an in-person meeting with the recruiter. Wen't well and in general not too different from the phone interview.
3. After the meeting with the recruiter went well, I was contacted to schedule a meeting via Skype with the team manager. The manager was nice and we seemed to click well.
4. Finally was a job shadow meeting, where I went to the office and met with one of the team members who explained the product, how the processes worked, etc. Seemed to go well and I was excited to learn more. During this same meeting I also ended up meeting in person with the team manager.
Up to this point my experience was great. Everyone I talked to was nice and professional, and I was definitely excited to have had make it this far in the process. Unfortunately after I left the building I never heard from anyone again, despite sending two follow up emails to express my desire to provide my skills and work for them.
While I am used to companies not giving a reply early on in the job application process, I found this result to be extremely unprofessional given the multitudes of steps I had taken in the interview process. This also included me having to take time off of my current job to attend these multiple stages. The entire interview process took 4 weeks, and I put forth quite a bit of my personal time and effort into the interview process . A simple thanks but no thanks email would have been perfect, but instead all communication ceased.
