I was engaged with various members of the fractal team for about five weeks. I appreciated how thorough the process was and the team was friendly. There was an initial screen and then two separate hour-long interviews. I also attended a happy hour event they put on for candidates. The final interview was a mock case that I spent ~5 hours putting together ahead of the interview (e.g. market research, live interviews, creating the mock pitch). Given the opportunity, I was prepared to allocate time to the process and had no complaints there as a result. What I found most surprising was that Fractal would not provide feedback to me after their final no hire decision because it's "not part of their practice". I found it shocking that they were not open to sharing feedback with candidates who invested several hours in the interview process.
