Entrevista
A panel of 3 judges (all technical personnel, from various levels in the company) were present to conduct the interview, I was the only applicant for that time slot. They had some tests in visual studio where a piece of code had issues, and my job was to spot the bug(s) and come up with fixes on the spot. Googling was not allowed.
Most of the remaining questions were writing code on paper or notepad. Again, googling was not allowed. The difficulty of the tests did not reflect the entry-level position, and one interviewer even remarked that one of the visual studio bugs in the test may have been too advanced for use in this interview. They gave me the machine code for an assembly interview question before hand, and gave me the instructions one I arrived (see below). The judges sat across from me in the room and waited while I did the questions, which contributed to the pressure. At one point I asked to write comments in my code to better explain it, but was denied.

Paper coding question in C. Given a template like "int malloc(void* pointer, size_t ptr_size)", write a malloc implementation inside the function block. No external libraries allowed.
Notepad coding question. Given some basic pseudo-code assembly code instructions, write code to solve multiplication/division/modulo questions. No other code or comments allowed.

1. online assessment. About Network, Operating System and Linux. It including about 10 choice type questions and 2 or 3 coding questions about data structure and API design. Some coding questions require specific programming language, like Java or C. 2. Interview with 2-4 interviewers

3 interviewers interviewed me. They were kind and rigorous. I was asked some questions about C++, networks and Operating systems. No coding exercise during the interview. They focus on the description and the projects listed on your resume.

Horrible experience. After the passed technical assessment, the hire manager rejected me because I applied for another position in Fortinet a few months ago. I don't understand this excuse, and I don't accept being rejected by this excuse.
