I don't believe the people who are interviewing actually know what they are talking about when it comes to UX. I found the way they expected me to perform on display for an audience really uncomfortable and when I said I don't think this is for me and asked to leave, they continued to push. I had to mention 3 times that this isn't the right fit and I'd like to go before they finally said ok. I've been a UX designer for almost 7 years and have been in countless interviews and this is by far the worst I've ever had and I've never asked to leave an interview before. It was a huge red flag for me.
