      The process initially started off very smoothly. I applied for the role and was contacted within a few weeks. I completed a phone screening and was moved to a second interview just three days later. The second interview was a one-on-one with the hiring manager and followed a fairly standard format. It was an enjoyable conversation overall. I appreciated the emphasis on ensuring the process was equitable and thoughtful. After that, I was advanced to a third-round panel interview, which included a scenario-based project. This is where the experience began to feel misaligned. I was given 72 hours to complete the project, which was assigned on a Friday and due Monday — over the MLK holiday weekend. While that raised some concerns for me, I was very interested in the role and chose to complete it within the timeframe provided. The recruiter had indicated the position needed to be filled as soon as possible, so I prioritized the assignment despite the timing. The panel interview itself went very well. I felt confident in the case I made and the discussion that followed. At the conclusion, I was told I would hear back within three business days. Since then, I have followed up twice with the recruiter and once with the hiring manager to reiterate my interest. It has now been a month with no response. Given the urgency communicated earlier in the process and the strong communication up to that point, the lack of follow-up has been surprising and disappointing. What initially felt like a very promising opportunity has ultimately become a frustrating experience.
