The interview process was dragged out with a lack of communications. It began with the hiring manager reaching out directly to schedule the first round. After setting it for about a week later he had to cancel and reschedule. After the first round, he followed up via email about the benefits and asking about my comp expectations. When I told him how much it was, I was told that it was above their budget even tho it was within the pay band they listed on their job posting. Three weeks go by before the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th final round are scheduled. After that, I was only informed that they moved along with other candidates after I informed them that I had received an offer from somewhere else. Overall, while meeting everyone was fine, the company needs to improve their timeline management for the interview process.
