I just had 2 calls. It was great i made a silly mistake during the take home assessment, and that blocked me to move forward with them. I asked them to reconsiderate to check the code but I did not receive any answer. I think I performed well to at least consider that

How to tackle architecture problems
Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Fever en mar 2024
Entrevista
I went through the process at fever for a senior backend position. The process was long, with several interviews, technical test and cultural fit interviews. I passed all the interviews and received my offer. I started the process as it was a remote position as I had at my previous company. During the process I was told that the contract would be with the headquarters in Madrid, as I had in my previous company. At no time was I told that I would have to pay for everything, travel, stay and onboarding and possible future meetings. These expenses should always be covered by the company since it is for your work and this includes per diems, etc.. This implies a very high cost since you enter the company paying and a trip of these characteristics has a cost of more than 700 euros if you are from outside Madrid. In the process and interviews they did not say anything about this information and about this type of contract. Talking to lawyers and according to the BOE this type of contract they offer is illegal since a remote person who is always from home has to have the contract marked as remote work with your home as a second place of work with their respective benefits, annexes, bonus payments in payroll for remote work where the remote work is established. I signed the pre-contract without having this information and I informed my previous company that I was going to leave the job, 7 days before starting the job they gave me this information and finally I had to say no because it seems to me something horrible for a company to hide information and this way of working. I also had to turn down other offers because of this lack of information. It says a lot about a company that before entering you start off on the wrong foot, within the company there are more than 40 people in this situation. If you value your work and do not want to feed this type of practice I recommend that you do not enter this company.
