The interview process was pretty quick. It lasted 2 weeks because I wanted to elongate it as I was interviewing with other companies at the time. There was one hackerrank challenge with two questions, there were leetcode easy in difficulty. I was moved to onsite right away after that. The onsite is longer than other ones I have done (~5 hrs), but I expect that from a startup. The onsite had 2 data structures and algorithms(45 mins) questions(45 mins), 1 system design question (45 mins), 1 ML design question (30 mins), 1 tech talk (15 min), and final cultural talks with CEO and CTO separately (about 20-30 mins each). Even though it was long, I didn't feel that long. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and needed a break after each round. The interviewers were also very respectful throughout the interview.

First round interview as informal conversation w CEO. Then we jumped straight to the onsite. 2 coding questions, each about 45 min long, 2 design questions, a presentation that lasted about 20 min and then two conversations with the CEO and CTO. Communication was great throughout the process. Chris and Andrew took the time to explain the business case / goals of the company and I joined Fathom with minimal reservations.
