Title: Inconsistent Hiring Process and Lack of Communication
I’m sharing my personal experience interviewing for an Analyst Tester position at this organization.
I went through multiple interview rounds, including technical and managerial discussions. After completing these rounds, I was informed that I had been selected, received a tentative joining date, and later received confirmation over email. I was also asked to submit documents with the expectation that an offer letter would be issued.
Before the offer was released, an additional interview round was scheduled, which I attended. After completing this round, I did not receive any further communication for several weeks, despite following up through calls and emails.
Eventually, I was informed that my profile was considered a “red flag.” The reasons shared were a career gap in 2024 and a layoff from a startup due to a client loss. From my perspective, these concerns were raised very late in the process, even after multiple rounds, selection confirmation, and document submission.
If these factors were decisive, clearer communication earlier in the hiring process would have helped avoid confusion and unnecessary delays for both sides.
The technical interview discussions were professional and focused on skills, which I appreciated. However, the overall candidate experience was affected by delayed communication and inconsistent closure from the HR side.
Suggestions for improvement:
Ensure alignment before confirming selection
Avoid sharing joining dates until final decisions are complete
Communicate outcomes and feedback in a timely manner
I’m sharing this feedback to help improve the hiring experience for future candidates.
