The process was very smooth, first we had the technical test, then the presentation of the technical test. After that I talked to the hiring manager and everything went very well. The big problem I had was that it was only in the interview I had with the hiring manager that I was asked about salary expectations. A week after this last interview, I sent them an email asking for feedback, and after 1 day they got back to me that the USD $6,000.00 I asked for was out of their range and that they "thanked my time and interest", that's all they replied, they didn't even bother work to make a counter proposal. I found it grossly disrespectful to make me go through all the steps of the interview and then dismiss me without making a counter-offer or any other reason.
