I applied through their website and few day later there were a call from their regional recruiter (Singapore) asking few question about the position and asking to conduct face to face interview with the supervisor in Jakarta. If I'm not mistaken he sent me some kind of editing test. It was much easier than what I did previously with Booking.com. Later on I found out that the role doesn't need extensive kind of English skill because they have automate system for creating the content so that's why the Editing Test is not as hard as Booking test that I had previously.
The first interview round was with their Sr Content Lodging, background check, asking my interest, just common question during the interview and explain detail about the job desk. In the end of the interview he give me piece of paper consist of images of necessary and unnecessary thing for hotel.
Everything going well, then they conduct the second interview round.
The second interview round was with their Market Area Manager. Actually I kinda wondering why would Market Area Manager willing to had interview with me but later on I understand that the position actually very related to the manager. The interview going well, but had more various question that I never had before. And in the end of the interview the manager ask me to do something like role play. So basically I pretend to be their staff and contacting the hotel to complete necessary information to be put into their website. First of all I was afraid it was not clear enough but thank God, there were another process going
The third interview round was with the Content Lodging Manager, she was based on Singapore and we had the interview through Skype. She impressed with what I'm explained and basically all is background checking and common interview question. That's it.
The final thing then was salary negotiation. I have to say that this was the most un-respectful negotiation I had during my professional carrier. The HR ladies once call me, just like brief question "what is your expectation" then that's it. I need to wait couple day for the confirmation and keep emailed her. Finally after days of waiting she emailed me an offer, below my expectation and it was just like 10% increment from my current one. But then I asking for an adjustment and I was asking that my salary would be counted as NET salary instead of gross. I clearly mention it twice in my email. That girl, again, doesn't reply my email for days and then finally she said they agree. But somehow I still found out that it was not clear stated it was NET or gross. She just mention the amount I asking for and sent me the contract right away.
And the fact that really really disappoint me, after checking and read the contract carefully, so my basic salary was counted as GROSS! because my salary will be deducted with several tax and medical obligation. I've ask her clearly to count it as NET but she not say it clearly and for some reason try to hide the fact! I reject it for sure especially the position was for contract base and she don't even care that in my current position I was Team Lead and has permanent staff contract. Such a weird decision from big company like Expedia, somehow it turn me off and really hate this lady.

4 rounds interview process. I feel like the interview process is relatively the same with any other company out there. First round was online interview, then phone interview, in market interview, finally another online interview.

Invited for a phone interview, was told to choose a time between 7AM-3PM.
I told them 7AM on a Tuesday, which would leave me enough time to get ready and go to my current job, which ends after 3PM.
Never received a phone call. It has been over 36hrs since I sent them a follow-up e-mail.
Very discouraging!

L'entretien d'embauche chez Expedia Group, France - etait tres professionnel, sincère et l'ambiance était plutôt détendue. Le recruteur (e) etait à l'écoute du postulant. Questions pertinentes et faciles quand on a confiance en ses compétences.
