      Entrevista

      Received an email from a recruiter and set up the initial phone interview. The initial interview lasted about an hour and there were several RED FLAGS spoken out loud by the recruiter during this initial screening. Needless to say, if they reach out to me to continue the interview process, I will be declining. Red Flag #1: position listed as "entry level" but required 3 years of banking experience to be considered for the role. By making the role "entry level" the company can underpay potential candidates. In my opinion, if any amount of previous experience is required I would not consider the role "entry level." Reg Flag #2: see interview question regarding compensation..

      Pregunta 1

      What compensation are you looking for? When this was asked, I answered that my value was $XX.00/hourly and was told that the role is only offering $4-$7 less than what I was asking. Then the RED FLAG hit and the recruiter stated "We wouldn't want to hire you in at a higher rate than others in the same role because if you were to share your compensation with others, WHICH IS NOT ALLOWED, they might get upset." IF this company is offering fair compensation for the work being done, they wouldn't have to advise a candidate to "not talk about their pay with others," when it is completely legal to do so. It makes me think this company would retaliate against any employee for doing something that is not illegal and could ultimately end in a lawsuit against the Credit Union.
