El proceso tomó 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Evercore Partners (New York, NY) en dic 2008
Entrevista
First of all, I'd like to note that this was not a formal process, as I did not apply directly through my school's career services. Instead, I received this opportunity from contacting a friend who worked at EverCore before. The interview process was pretty basic: a mix of behaviorial and technical. They seem to stress the behaviorial more. Maybe this is because I had little experience working in finance, as I was an engineer before. The process took over two days, as the first day was mostly behaviorial (why finance? why this group? why not engineering? etc.) The second was technical (walk me through a DCF, pitch me three stocks, how does M&A affect stockprice, etc.) I thought I did pretty well, guess they weren't impressed.

I applied online and also had someone pass my resume along. I then had two first round phone interviews, after which I attended the superday onsite. The superday was a few hours long, and each interview was 30-45 minutes.

Very intense interview process, heavily technical, and almost no behavioral. The interviewers were mainly analysts and had a good idea of what they wanted from the analyst. Working for so many hours means they wanted someone capable of grinding.

Hirevue, interview with recruiter, AC (final round). AC included a pre-prepared presentation, group exercise and two interviews with MDs. Final two interviews were hard and some random questions were asked. Given one week notice for the AC.
