Entrevista
The entire interview process was smooth and rewarding. I got to learn a lot about EverQuote and the people there.
I first had an interview with HR. She asked some questions about my resume and did a brainteaser. I was a little bit worried about my non-data background but she was pretty nice and told me how much diversity EverQuote has in terms of employee's academic focus. The interview went smoothly.
Then I was given a data set with a couple of questions to deal with within a week. It's real business data from EverQuote and I was asked to analyze the performance and seasonal trend and also to give advice on how to improve the business.
After passing the data test, I had two rounds of onsite interviews. I really appreciated that they can rearrange my second onsite to a month later because I had plan to travel outside of US.
During the onsite interviews, I met with analysts, team managers and VP, in total of 7 peoole. They were all very friendly and helpful when I had any questions about the company or the position. The interviews were well structured with behavioral questions, technical questions and some brainteasers or case questions.
BTW, the office looks really cool with well equipped kitchen, math formulas on the walls and people working at standing desks, coding or doing analysis. :)

The process is initial phone screening, a series of virtual case interviews, and then an in-person interview. The phone screen is very relaxed, and case interviews are medium difficulty, but you must pass one to progress to the next

Started with a 30 min phone screen with two separate case studies. Recruiter was very interested in specifics behind resume experience. Asked about tech stack and outcomes for different projects and such on the resume.

1 phone call, 3 case studies, all relatively fair but vauge. Practice before them. i do not know if i have the job yet. The people were friendly and I would like to work at this company.
