It was relatively a quick process. I went in for an application. I filled out the application and brought it back in. An interview was scheduled and I met with the general manager. We went over my previous experience and what they were looking for in an employee. We were on the same page and I agreed to the compensation and benefits plan. Within a week I had to undergo the standard drug test and orientation training. Afterwards, I was paired with an experienced driver. I was shown the routes to and from the refineries. Also I was carded and cleared through each refinery. After about 3-4 weeks I was a solo fuel hauler for Evans Dedicated.
