Interviewed in February. Recruiter call, manager call, panel presentation, etc. Went through all rounds until I was a finalist, then was ghosted by the recruiter without a decision. It was quite unfortunate because I was excited about the role. I do wish they would’ve provided some closure on it, especially when you take time out to do 4+ interviews including a presentation. The conversation flowed easily and I was assured that feedback was great throughout. Sadly, I don’t think I’d encourage my connections to apply. I understand that people get busy but it doesn’t take long to send off a quick email saying you’ve decided to go in a different direction for this role or even suggest other roles within the company. My experience was great, until that point. I don’t like giving negative feedback but hopefully it’s seen as constructive.
