During the phone screen, the recruiter had a very noisy background that overall was very distracting and made it hard to focus on answering the questions. As a candidate, I'm sure I would have been expected to take our call in a quiet, distraction-free environment so this felt disrespectful and ironic as this was not an impromptu call. Otherwise, she was informative about the steps of the process and role details.
