Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Epic (Dallas, TX) en oct 2024
Entrevista
It was quick! Recruiter reached out to me and encouraged me to apply, I thought why not? Got invited to take the exam a few days later. The exam is hard, I didn't know it would be an exam when I started, and it took almost 4 hours. A day after the exam, I got an email saying we'll get back within a couple of days to see if we want to give you an interview. Got an email 4 hours later for the interview invite. Interview day was 4 hours. 30 minute presentation on both PM and QM. 45 min case study with a group. 10 min presentation, 30 minute wrap up with recruiter. He asked if I wanted QM or PM more, I said PM. He said I would hear back within 2 weeks. Got PM offer a week later. Overall, pretty chill once you get past the exam but the exam is difficult. I haven't accepted yet but I am planning on deciding after I go to Madison to visit the campus (they will fly you and a guest out!) Leaning more towards yes right now.
Not invested in who they're hiring if they rely heavily on multiple assessments for applicants to take (personality quiz, etc). These are unpaid and take hours. A poor use of time.
After submitting the application, there was a personality assessment and a technical assessment to test your thinking skills. The technical assessment had 4 parts, some of which took a long time(~1.5 hours) while others were quick.
Intro zoom call, and several hours of tests on a lockdown browser before even getting to have the first ten minute phone interview. Phone interview was basically combing through my resume and any gaps.
