Despite being highly qualified for this opening, the hiring authorities were completely unprofessional. After an initial phone interview in which I was told I had excellent credentials, I was then strung along for the next month. Repeated follow up on my part was never returned. Finally one day I received a simple email stating “they were going in a different direction”, whatever that means. No other explanation, no thanking me for the interest.
