Interview process took 2 months and included a case study presentation in front of a panel (virtually) that involved a ton of research and preparation ahead of time. Informed them of a competing offer received after my final interview and was repeatedly told by a relatively junior HR employee that an offer was forthcoming, that I was the top runner, etc. Turned down the other offer and a week later was told "the team is making adjustments" to the role and that I should move on. Supremely unprofessional and a horrific way to go about looking for talent. Get it together before you post a job, folks. What a waste of 2 months.
