The whole recruitment process is way too time consuming, and really for no reason.
First I completed a written assessment that also involved basic troubleshooting for one of their products. That took me about 1 hour, but I feel I have to say that I have a 4 years experience supporting a very similar product, so that did not cause any bother to me. I mean, at the beginning I thought that was a serious approach to gather the right candidate.
After that, I received an email for a video interview with my potential future team leader and with the support engineer, where I was posed basic customer care questions.
Third step, another video interview with an HR representative and again my potential future team leader, with basically the same questions as in the previous interview.
They left me saying that if I was a good fit, they would have emailed me to come and spend one day in their headquarters, to attend to two more interviews (CEO and COO) and perform some actual job tasks.
They disappeared for two weeks, then emailed me that they decided to move for another candidate who had a better fitting experience for the role, inviting me to apply for future job opportunities.
After a couple of days, the same ad appeared again, so following their advice, I applied again including a presentation letter where I explained I was applying again as they told me 🤣🤣🤣. Obviously nobody answered. This is an unprofessional way to recruit, with no respect for candidates and with a possible second aim that I could not fully understand.
