The process started with a phone screen by the recruiter, followed by an interview with the hiring manager. Instead of focusing on my role and responsibilities, the hiring manager spent a lot of time trying to understand my company and wanted an elevator pitch for all the products we sell. This made me question whether they were looking for a Product Marketing Manager or a Product Manager. It felt like a strange interview since I didn’t really get the chance to discuss my own work or share my experiences. After the interview, despite my attempts to follow up, I didn’t hear back and was completely ghosted.

Recruiter does a quick screen then bring you on site, then you meet the hiring manager and a few people. They need you to sign NDA and make it sounds very formal and secretive. The schedule on the day is not very organized. They went quiet after the onsite, no update and no follow up. They are fishing for resume and ideas, very doubtful they are serious to hire to the fraternity.
