I attended Efftroncs written test in my College (IARE). It was purely based on technical knowledge. Practice and solve some questions before attending it. Questions came from EDC, Circuit theory, Microprocessors &Assembly programming and some digital & computer networks based questions. After that, there was an IQ test where we have to answer questions out of 150 within 15mins. I was shortlisted for next round from my Clg. After 2 days Technical Round 1 and HR was conducted in our clg itself. Technical Round 1: Most of them were basic questions on Diodes, Transistors and amplifier characteristics and questions related to rectifiers. The interviewer asked some basic Digital electronics questions related to K maps and basic MpMC questions like its features and characteristics. There were some logical questions and some C programming questions related to Structures and Arrays. TR-1 Questions were listed below. Later I was Shortlisted for HR round. HR: It was an easy round to clear. Just prepare your resume and make sure you answer basic questions like your role model and why do u want to join Efftronics etc. You'll clear it! I was shortlisted for next Technical Round -2 at Efftronics company,Vijayawada. TR-2 The interview was a written test You have to solve the problems on papers they provide you. Later they ask questions regarding How u solved it. It consists of 4 sections and each section had a duration of 1hr 30mins to answer. Section 1: 2 Basic Aptitude questions on Time distance work. 1 Number system conversion (HexaDecimal to Octal) and one question - Design Traffic control system. Section 2: 2 Assembly programming questions 1.Write a program to obtain square wave with 8 different frequencies at 8 different ports simultaneously. 2.Write a program to calculate multiplication of 2 2byte numbers without using MUL instruction in an efficient way. I solved it using repeated additions but it wasn't an efficient program. You can solve it using any programming languages u know like C, C++, Java, ALP, Embedded C etc.. they just want u to form logic. After this section they conducted Psychometric test related to questions on your thinking etc.. it was Easy answers should be YES or NO and some easy logical questions and it's not an elimination round. They will provide you Lunch in their mess. ;) Section 3: Crucial section - u have to answer them to be in the selection process. 1. Design a digital system using basic gates with the conditions they gave. 2. similar question. Make sure u practice them before going to interview. Browse to find some sample problems and solve it. Section 4: All Questions related to Circuit Theory. 1.Find voltage/Current/equivalent resistance in a basic circuit given. 2.Design power converter with I/p 24V DC to o/p 10v DC and 5V DC. 3.Design Op-Amp Amplifier with some small I/p and large o/p. 4.Design a circuit with input 10v and o/p 5v. After writing all of them you will be called to interview where you have to answer Section 2 and 3 questions. explain them confidently how u approached that solution. I wasn't shortlisted for next round(Physical Test) Physical Test: Blood Test, ECG etc... you can clear it once u cleared TR-2 which was conducted almost for 7hrs! That's my Interview Experience! Overall it was a great one attending an interview for core company. Basics perfect and thorough knowledge on MpMc and digital design? then u will be get selected!! Hope it helps! All the best !!
