I did not have to interview. The job was not posted, it was just given to me. No one knew about my promotion until after it had already taken effect.

There was one email questionnaire that asked basic questions, one phone "screening" and one phone interview. The phone interview was completely behavioral and was with two people. Had an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
