      Entrevista

      Applied online, and was reached out to the next day by Edvo. The process was different at first, that's for sure - you start off by chatting via Facebook Messenger, where your answers get scored to determine your fit in the specific area you are interested. This is all followed up by a very personalized interview process with their team. They were relentless in finding a role for me that truly lined up with my passions. I would highly recommend Edvo to anybody out there.

      The interview was held by a chat bot via FB Messenger. It was quite comprehensive and included questions you would expect to be asked in a real interview, including behavioral questions. You can think of it as an initial phone screen interview and should prepare for it as such. Overall, I really enjoyed working with Edvo. Shireen is creating an amazing product and Edvo is clearly very forward thinking in the way they approach recruiting. The interview, while a Messenger bot, was thorough, well thought out, and executed well. After completing the interview, you are given an "Edvo Score." Apparently this isn't quite to judge how "good" or "bad" of a candidate you are, but I think the interview questions are unique to the job posting you apply for, so they are really trying to see how well you match the job you're applying for. The whole thing is really built to match the right candidate with the right employer, and they are taking care of the legwork for the employer, and a bit for the job seeker as well in that they are only matching you with opportunities that would be a good fit for you. Kudos to Shireen!
