Short interview process. Interviewed my hiring manager and asked to do a design exercise. After that they have one final interview before deciding on a candidate. The design exercise is reviewed based on ability to stay in company brand guidelines.

Sent in my resume directly from their site, was then invited to create a mockup of a flyer and “in-store specials” poster for one of their annual events. I was then invited to a second in-person interview in which I spoke with the graphic design manager about the details of the role, my background, and my interest in the company. I was then invited to a final interview with the head manager, where we talked more about the goals of the company and potential projects- he offered me the job on the spot. I regretfully turned it down for a different offer.
