Entrevista
I submitted by CV through a contact and was invited for an all-day interview. There was one hour with HR, one hour with the group director, one hour with potential colleagues, one hour with the whole group where I also had the chance to get some insights into a regular work day, work-life balance, etc., 1/2 hour group lunch with the whole department to check social skills during lunch, and most importantly there was one hour where I had to take a test, revise multiple-choice items and then talk about them with potential future colleagues.

The interview was alright, people were nice and made me feel comfortable; content wise there was no real difficult question.

About one month after applying online, I was contacted by HR to set up a 30 minute video interview on MS Teams. One week after that, the hiring department asked to prepare a 20 minute presentation on a topic in my field. In addition to that presentation, I had three more interviews on that day as well as a written assessment to complete in one hour. After the day of interviews, I met with an executive director via Teams. The process was very intense and time-consuming with many targeted questions about my education, experience and work style.

I was asked about how my experience translated to the position. Describe a time you were given an assignment you disagreed with and how you handled it. How do you stay organized in your work life?

I received a call from a recruiter to come in for an in-person interview about a month and a half after I applied for the position on the ETS website. Once I arrived for the in-person interview, I briefly met with the recruiter who walked me to a room where I took an assessment. I did not see the recruiter again. After the assessment, I met with two folks from the department I would be working in. They asked me a few questions about my experience, about assessments, how to handle difficult managers and criticism, etc., and that was pretty much it. Once the interview ended, I was walked out and told that it would be a few weeks before I heard anything. Because this all took place around the holidays, I figured that was reasonable. This all took place about three months ago, and I am still waiting to hear back about a decision.
