First stage conducted by partner went well, followed by presentation to two employees. Following this I didn’t hear anything for 4 weeks. I reached out to HR and the partner and got conflicting responses - HR told me it was “a no” with no further feedback whereas the partner told me I was their number one choice but the position was filled internally. I’m still not sure where I stand (7 weeks since my presentation) but it’s a strange way of attracting new talent and doesn’t reflect well on the company.
