Unfortunately, the recruiter did not provide enough information about the salary, even though I had shared my salary expectations. I had assumed they were looking for a senior position, but it wasn’t until I received the job offer that I realized the salary was too low for a senior role. I asked them to reconsider the offer, as I was willing to adjust my expectations. However, their response was that although I was their first choice, they decided to go with a cheaper developer who was willing to accept a lower salary than the offer I received.
