Applied on linkedin with an honest CV. Got an initial call which did not go well, the recruiter seemed annoyed I did not have a particular experience on my CV. I did not hide this fact from them prior to the call so I feel they should have done their due dilligence before wasting my time. I was surprised afterwards they went on to ask me some technical questions. I flubbed some, answered some ok. She would rush me on if i knew the answer but be a bit judgemental if I did not. She concluded that these were simple questions that would be asked in the next interview. Fair enough but I was not expecting them in this call, and from a recruiter with no experience in software development. Felt like among my most negative experiences in an interview for being judged for what I hadnt gotten experience in, and then what I didnt know of the top of my head.

First was a HR/Recruiter Screening over the phone followed by a tech Screening via Hackerrank with 2 engineers. The tech screeners were polite, but it was odd that they were basically totally silent for the first 45 minutes, and one did not ever turn on his camera.
