I interviewed for an internship position at my university. My interviewer was easy going and friendly. The questions were all relatively similar and focused on teamwork/ leadership. The interview was definitely focused on the whether I would be the right fit for the company.

Pregunta 1
The most difficult quest was tell me about a group project that you recently completed. This was difficult because I am a full time accounting student and my professors rarely if ever give out large projects.
1-on-1 or 2-on-1 or 3-on-1 interview with the hiring manager and senior members of team. They ask questions related to the projects they plan to give. Somewhat informal, but very technical in detail.

If you had to convince a technician on your approach/methodology, how would you go about doing it?

Entrevista
A 10-minute research presentation followed by a long Q&A (approx. 45-60 mins total). The panel consisted of three scientists with heavy Statistics and Chemical Engineering backgrounds. The vibe is more "Applied Data Science" than "Computational Physics."
Pros:
- Respectful environment; they give you ample time to finish your presentation before asking questions.
- Interesting look into how traditional giants are adopting RAG and LLMs for internal documentation.
Cons:
- Heavy emphasis on specific domain fit (e.g., Polymers). If your PhD is in Inorganic/Crystals, the gap might be a dealbreaker regardless of ML skill.

Entrevista
I was invited to the location where together with a group of other candidates we had a comp y presentation followed by interviews and solving a business case. Prior to that I sent my resume. The interview was nice, people interviewing me were informed and asked good questions.
