My experience with this DoorDash's recruiting process was utterly disappointing and unprofessional. I initially scheduled a preliminary screening call with a recruiter via their Calendly link, and the appointment was confirmed. On the day of the scheduled call, the recruiter failed to appear on time. Ten minutes after the scheduled start, I received a text message from the recruiter requesting to reschedule the call for after 5 PM due to a "busy morning." I agreed and waited for the call after 5 PM, but it never came. I promptly followed up with the recruiter, and only the following day did I receive a response via text message stating they were "OOO" and that things had been "a bit crazy." Despite this initial lack of professionalism, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled the screening for the following week. However, just hours before the scheduled call, I received notification that the position was no longer being hired for. This entire process was a complete waste of my time. The recruiter demonstrated a severe lack of organization and respect for my time. The communication was poor, the scheduling was unreliable, and ultimately, the position was pulled without any proper notification or explanation.
