      Entrevista

      15 minute screening with hiring manager followed by a ~5 hour take home assignment. Then two 45 minute zoom interviews. The process was fine, however, it required significant upfront work by the interviewee before DoorDash offered their pitch of the role, company or team. 15 minutes seemed brief to gain any real information or sense of a candidate. The recruiter was exceptionally sour from the beginning, and very curt in all responses. At no point was information given regarding the next steps of the recruitment process, timing, people or activities that would be involved. After 3 interviews and 5+ hours of data analysis and presentation, the process abruptly ended with an automated response that another candidate had been selected. It was evident that at no point did the recruiter cared to engage in meaningful conversation or attempted to foster a relationship with me as a potential employee. While the result was my immediate dismissal, it would have been a very negative foundation to build off given the recruiter and hiring manager's terse and presumptive tone throughout the entire process.
