I had multiple phone interviews with internal recruiter, hiring manager as well a current Account Executive and Sales Engineer and received positive feedback after each one. I then was asked to take a test and provide references which all came back as extremely positive. Last step was an onsite interview which went well(at least I thought). It's now been 2 weeks since the onsite interview and I have gotten no response from the company. Nothing! Not even a courtesy "Thank your for your time, but we have decided to go in a different direction." Very strange and very unprofessional!

I went through 3 lengthy interviews and asked to compile a deck to demonstrate sales strategy leveraging their product suite. I found this odd due to not having any institutional or industry knowledge. I decided to rescind my candidacy only to be asked to conduct a peer interview which felt pointless. No one ever got back to me and I applied for another role to be told told I wasn’t a good fit. What’s odd is that I have over decade worth of B2B big data sales experience that’s involved complex strategic selling. Yet, I felt like they were subliminally questioning my ability to grasp their methodology even though my track record spoke for itself. Sadly, I’ve noticed them hiring former colleagues with less experience and the only difference is skin color. I try to avoid coming to this conclusion but it’s the only tangible thing that makes sense.
