Called in for an interview with the Principal and Assistant Principal. They asked standard questions like how I've dealt with difficult customers, what type of filing systems I've worked with that were confidential, etc. They take note and give recommendations to HR but the employee's extra points, like military spouse or veteran status, have an influence in hiring also.
