I had an initial phone interview with HR. After this I was scheduled for a face to face interviews in the Chicago suburb office with the hiring manager and others on the team (over a month after speaking with HR). The entire process was very slow and I felt that I was treated in a dismissive manner during the process. It didn't feel like they had a genuine interest in me, which was odd that they put me through the entire interview process (which made me wonder if I was just a diversity checkbox for them). All interviews were very robotic, all behavioral questions, so there was no real attempt by most interviewers in having real human conversations! Although they have mentioned several times (and it is customary in the industry to reimburse travel expenses for candidates) it has been over 2 months since my interview and I am still waiting for my travel expenses to be reimbursed; very rude and disrespectful in my opinion.
