I was already an employee and was discussing new opportunities within company. The broker dealer was undergoing changes and was looking to adjust the way company personnel were responsible for different activities. Company president was very open to discussing different positions that may be open for me. He was trying to restructure so there was flexibility to work in different areas of the company. Really liked the corporate environment and casual atmosphere at their Austin offices. Company CEO was good friend in my childhood so I was given more consideration than most.
