I walked into the customer service area and asked if they were hiring and the woman directed me into the executive office and the secretary had me fill out an application on the computer and when I was finished I filled out a form with the hours I could work and then she told me they would call me. The next day they called me and asked to set up an interview and we set it up for the following day. I went to the interview and was hired at the conclusion of the interview.
Standard interview, quite short (20 minutes) for the first round. Asked about past experience, sales skills, expected pay, and my future goals at the company. Interviewers were very nice and welcoming, made the experience much less intimidating!
Not sure what to expect. When I spoke to the manager it felt very condescending and off putting. The interview was fine but they exaggerated the amount of commission associates can make and didn’t even give me a chance to agree to a job offer just assumed that I would take it. I don’t have very high hopes about how it will be working there. When I came in for my interview one associate didn’t even greet me like she did the last customer and the energy of the atmosphere just felt super dull and soulless. I need this job on my resume as a fashion business student for internships so I’ll push through but not at all optimistic about the work environment.
