I had the first interview with Difuzed late December 2021. Normal interview with some standard questions. The next step was a design task to create two visuals (I had to follow-up with the person from the first interview to ask for an update). After I sent the design task, I got a reply that they would like me to proceed in the next step, in which I had to meet another person, who also asked for a design task to check my creative rebel design abilities as my portfolio was more into corporate design (keep in mind that during the first interview I asked for the different steps of the interview process and there was only one design task). Also, during the second interview, the 2nd design task brief was generic and there was no mention about a specific deliverable, so I created a mood board. They found it, as they mentioned, basic and not what they were expecting (they were expecting more or less a homepage revamp sample). My advice: Be more specific next time and at least define the interview steps clearly, especially when a second design task is required.
