HR representative and I had a 30 min conversation with a behavioral angle, and at the end of the interview, agreed that we should move to the hiring manager stage. She asked me my availability which I provided, and told me she would send along a formal scheduling email so she could align with the hiring manager. This never happened. Only three weeks later do I receive an automated rejection email from the company. I'm not sure if the HR representative was just incompetent, but this was quite frustrating.
